Crankshaft pulley (MT)

A critical maintenance item on NSX, we recommend the pulley is changed every 10 years or so.
Pulley's on the NSX can dry rot and this causes the rubber balancing core to dislocate from the steel pulley.
This WILL send it smashing trough your plastic timing belt cover (see our pulley shield as security measure) causing your timing belt to jump.

As a result the chances then are very high you'll be needing a head overhaul and new valves. (best case, worst is full engine overhaul and new pistons and sleeves)
By just replacing the pulley every or every other timing belt service you virtually eliminate the risk.

As an insurance we highly recommend adding the pulley shield.

Please specify whether your NSX has manual or automatic transmission when ordering the pulleys differ!
